Someathing that i would tell an incoming AP student would be to find something early that you want to be your concentration. The best way to do that is to start thinking about it during the summer. Somthing else that would also help would be to bring a camera everywhere you go becasue the more photos you have the more ideas you come up with. Also it is very important to do more then just the four pieces that are due next year becasue you are going to need 12 breath section stuff as well.
My favorite piece that i have done this year is called old age. In this one i really got the feeling that she was looking at you. Here eyes really popped and she disappeared into the background. She really was looking at you and you could fell that she was there. It was also one of everyones favorites when i would ask.
Somethings that i learned about myself this year was that i really dont like computers and that they dont like me either. pretty much they most of the time did not work. and off course wile doing this blog spot the computer was not working with me. But to be seriouse, as an artist i grew a huge amount. i learned how to use new materials and how to look at things in new ways. i also learned how to use everyones skills to my advantage and use it as good competition to make myself better. i loved seeing everyones work throughout the year. i also grew as a person. i learned how to express myself in great ways. i also learned not to put myself so low. it took a wile to bring myself up but i realised that i needed to have confidence in myself to get things done instead of sobbing to myself.
There were so many events that i loved this year it has just been a blast. One thing that i want to do more than we did would be bookmaking becasue i love the idea of having your own book that you make. it makes it more special and you get to make it the way you want it to be. Also i loved learning from Jesse Reno. The workshop was really good. i wish that we could of done it as one big class though. and that we would of been more mixed up. it seemed that everyone that was best friends were put together and i think that we should of been more intermixed because i really did not get to know everyone super well till really late in the year. A also really loved the trip to the beach. i had so much fun! i love the beach. i also really liked the Scholastic Art Awards! it makes me make goals for myself to get scholerships and keys and stuff. it makes you feel good about yourself.
in ten years i want to live in oregon and sell my art! i want to make are everyday and get money for it. i want to live on a farm with hourses and cows and sheep and chickens and cats and dogs and goats and all that farm stuff. to get some extra money i will sell eggs and milk and stuff. that way i will have fun every day.
