shel silverstein

i could not pick between "Colors" and "Hug o' War"

COLORS

My skin is kind of sort of brownish
Pinkish yellowish white.
My eyes are grayish blueish green,
But I'm told they look orange in the night.
My hair is reddish blondish brown,
But it's silver when it's wet.
And all the colors I am inside
Have not been invented yet.

He writes poems and draws really fun pictures with it!!!! the poems i picked do not have good pictures to show the fun he has with his art but these are two of the most meaningful ones to me. I like how he is able to write poems that kids really like but can also be enjoyed by adults. I remember reading these poems when i was little and never found the meaning but would only love looking at the pictures. Today i found the book where the sidewalk ends and realized the meaning he really had in his work. All his stuff is sketching. He looks like he has fun with it and he is very loose with it. when you look at it it looks very free.

Michel Keck

Dog art collages series

collages, mixed media, abstract painter

i found her randomly...it was very weird...she is self taught and has two dogs of her own. I like that she does her art on what she loves the most. Her dogs. i love animals so i i get it. What all the dog series collages have in common is that she uses the real picture if the dogs eyes. In every one. i feel like she does that because its what makes each dog different. They all have different eyes. It looks like fun what she is doing and that she really enjoys plating with different colors. I also noticed that she really gets the worm and cold colors against each other so everything really goes together.
