i love the feeling of this one. I feel like the woman is really trapped in the sky.
this one just really pops and it is amazing!!!! one of my new favorites. i am now in love with Susan Seddon Boulet!! i spent a very long time looking at her book in the art room and read about her. all of her things are about moon Gods and she paints them the way that she seas them. They are very well done i love the way she makes them pop out of the work and how detailed it is. She is alot like Jesse because when i was reading about her she said that when she does not like something she covers it up and leaves the parts that are working. So she has many things going on all at once and so it really makes you want to look at her stuff more. I could look at it for much longer than i did. But i had to get lunch so i stopped. You should look more into her. She does some really sick stuff.
ooo i can see why you like ehr so much, she seems similar to you what with all the color usage and the layers!. you should try to do cool layering effects in your next pieces!
ReplyDeleteabby, she really does seem like the type of artist you would like. in some ways her work reminds me of the painting you did last year of the tattoos and the nude woman because of the hidden designs and details. i am glad you found something that makes you excited!
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to find this book. With so much layering the paintings are mesmerizing. There's so much going on in each piece without detracting from the main focus.
